Awards
Yet another award for the Polgoonies!
Polgoon Rosé
In its short life Polgoon Vineyard has achieved considerable success. The first Rosé produced in 2006 was awarded the Waitrose Trophy for "The best still Rosé Wine", at the UK Vineyard Association 2007 Awards. John and Kim were extremely privileged to be invited to attend the awards ceremony at the House of Lords and to collect their trophy from Lord Montague of Beaulieu.
Kim &John ,with Millie & Georgia two of their children with the coveted Waitrose Trophy
Poor weather conditions in 2007 and 2008 meant little or no crops, but there is real positivity that the 2009 crop will produce another winner.

Silver Medal in the 2007 English & Welsh Wine of the Year Awards
Bronze Medal at the UKVA Awards in 2008

Whilst the wine crop was suffering in 2007 and 2008, John and Kim, determined not to be beaten, focused their efforts on producing other products and created the Polgoon Aval and Aval Rosé.
